Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Student Housing Cleaner position is a full-time, fixed-term role. Daily tasks involve cleaning communal kitchens, computer labs, bedrooms, and bathrooms as well as various other shared spaces within student housing facilities.
You will also be responsible for refuse removal and preparing venues for events. Adhering to best practices for cleaning procedures and using products safely is an important part of your job.
Servicing, recleaning, and decommissioning holiday accommodation is required, especially during periods of student movement in and out of residences.
Reporting faulty equipment and acting as a fire marshal or assisting with safety initiatives is also expected. You’ll contribute to sustainability efforts by assisting with energy and waste reduction initiatives.
All responsibilities must be conducted while following Health & Safety guidelines and maintaining a positive, professional attitude towards students and staff alike.
